Welcome Nora Mooney to the IOTA Foundation

Welcome Nora Mooney to the IOTA Foundation! Nora joins the communications team as a Social Media Manager. In this role, she will help us improve our online presence, increase IOTA's awareness and improve marketing efforts in general.

Nora is originally from Cincinnati, Ohio, but has been living in Europe for quite some time, settling in Berlin in 2019. She completed her Masters in International Business Economics and Management at KU Leuven in Belgium and has over four years of experience in social media management, digital marketing, and content creation.

On Joining IOTA

From a young age, Nora has been passionate about movements and industries that incite positive changes in the world. Technological developments have always interested her, however, recently she has become concerned about the environmental implications of some of these innovations: they might improve our lives in a plethora of ways but what about their negative impact on the climate?

Upon learning about the IOTA foundation and its dedication to offering a sustainable solution to cryptocurrency and data sharing, Nora found the ideal way to combine her interest in innovation with her environmentalist ideals and her professional background. Nora is thrilled to be part of the IOTA Foundation team and prove that innovation and sustainability can coexist!
