Celebrating Innovation
The Winners of the APAC Moveathon
TL;DR:
The inaugural IOTA APAC Moveathon concluded Friday in Singapore, awarding over $150,000 in prizes. HyperAgile took first place, Figo came in second, and AToIoTA took third place. Prizes also went to track winners and the community’s favorite project. More Moveathon editions coming soon.
Following an incredible showcase event in Singapore on Friday 6 June, we're thrilled to announce the winners of the first IOTA APAC Moveathon. After nine weeks of intense development, these projects have pushed the boundaries of what's possible with IOTA's Move VM and EVM.

Since registration opened on March 3rd, we've witnessed over 459 registered participants and 40 submitted projects, with 33 being approved for judging in total.
The energy at our Singapore showcase has been electric, with teams from across the APAC region presenting projects that demonstrate the potential of Move and EVM on IOTA. From the 150+ projects that began this journey in March, our judges had the challenging task of selecting the most innovative, technically sound, and impactful solutions.
First Place Winner (35,000 USD): HyperAgile
Track: Real World Applications in Tokenization & Global Trade
HyperAgile is a Middleware-as-a-Service platform that helps industries to bridge traditionally- siloed robotic automation in their warehouses with IOTA. It tokenizes robots into IOTA-connected digital twins for managing inventories with on-chain records and facilitates the low-cost migration of complex setups. With kiosk-based warehouse design, load balancing via IOTA-native randomness, and multisig-powered human-robot interactions, HyperAgile provides fine-grained asset control and efficient tracking within a robust automation pipeline.
What Made This Project Stand Out:
"We are building something hardware integrated robotics. One of the core features inside the showcase is the chaos based design. It shows how a tokenized inventory product can be moved around. Industries will be able to use and implement it easily in their automation workflow" - Tan Zhi Xuan, Hyper Agile Team Lead.

Second Place Winner (25,000 USD): Figo
Track: Payments & Consumer Applications
Figo is a DApp that transforms collectible figure management by merging physical items with digital assets using IOTA. Collectors can scan NFC-tagged figures, mint them as Dynamic NFTs, and store them in smart contract wallets, enabling digital interaction and ownership. The platform offers an innovative experience for organizing, showcasing, and gamifying collections, bridging the physical and digital realms in a creative, decentralized way.
Key Highlights:
“Our project has done a seamless integration between NFC and NFT technologies to showcase their collectibles inside gaming environments” - Zhan Choon Wong, Figo Team Lead.

Third Place Winner (15,000 USD): AToIoTA
Track: DeF(A)i
AToIoTA (pronounced "Auto-IOTA") is an AI-driven DeFi portfolio management platform that offers intelligent optimization, whale tracking, and natural language financial insights. By combining Gemini 2.5 Pro AI and IOTA, it delivers personalized financial analysis, predictive analysis, and automated portfolio rebalancing. AToIoTA simplifies access to complex DeFi protocols with an intuitive interface, empowering users to make informed decisions while maintaining full control of their assets.
Key Highlights:
"Our system will be like personal AI financial Advisor that can help investors monitor the crypto market 24/7, helping them in doing smart decisions" - Chonlarnatt P., AToIoTA Team Lead.

Track Winners
Beyond our overall winners, we're also celebrating a track winner - these were the outstanging projects that claimed first place in each of our four specialized tracks:
- Payments & Consumer Applications Track Winner: Figo - $8,000 USD
- Tokenization and Global Trade Track Winner: HyperAgile - $8,000 USD
- DeF(A)i Track Winner: Omneon - $8,000 USD
- Tooling & Infrastructure Track Winner: OG Builders - $8,000 USD
Community Favourite Sponsored by the Tangle Community Treasury DAO: Zephyr
Track: Payments & Consumer Applications
In addition to our judged categories, we let the community have their say through live voting during the showcase event. The project that captured the hearts and minds of our audience is Zeyphr, a Web3 e-commerce gateway on IOTA EVM that streamlines blockchain use for everyday transactions.
With zero-knowledge onboarding, email-based access, and encrypted key management, it allows instant IOTA transfers using names or emails. Zeyphr supports in-store payments through Point of Sale features like tap-and-pay and QR codes, while its integrated marketplace enables trading of both physical goods and NFTs, making decentralized commerce intuitive and accessible.
The Journey: Nine Weeks of Innovation
The dedication shown by all participants has been remarkable. From the opening ceremony on April 7th through the code freeze on May 4th, teams have pushed the limits of IOTA’s tech stack, creating solutions that address real-world challenges while showcasing the unique capabilities of our network.
