Tenity Launches IOTA APAC Accelerator in Singapore
Fostering RWA Innovation in IOTA Ecosystem

The IOTA Ecosystem DLT Foundation is excited to introduce the IOTA APAC Accelerator, a Singapore-based initiative developed in collaboration with Tenity, the global innovation ecosystem and early-stage investor. The 12-week Accelerator is designed to nurture entrepreneurial talent within the IOTA ecosystem, with a focus on early-stage projects that are developing Real-World Asset (RWA) tokenization products and infrastructure.

Singapore is the number eight startup ecosystem in the Global Startup Ecosystem Report 2023, which highlights Singapore’s pro-business environment, booming digital economy, around 4,000 tech startups, and status as a Fintech innovation hotbed. Regarding DeFi, the APAC region has seen significant investment momentum (with the APAC market described by Nasdaq as “one of the fastest-growing regions for Web3”), major Web3 events, and clear regulatory guidelines, with SocialFi poised to drive future adoption (according to Campaign, “Access to permissionless financial services with just a smartphone, along with positive consumer attitudes toward blockchain and cryptocurrencies, has translated into a growing adoption of blockchain wallets.”)
About the Accelerator
Scheduled to run from June to September 2024, the IOTA Accelerator invites innovative teams leveraging IOTA EVM technology in areas such as RWA, DeFi, Institutional DeFi Services, and Infrastructure.
The Accelerator’s curriculum is crafted to thoroughly explore market entry barriers, identify needs, and develop effective monetization strategies before its validation phase refines strategic blueprints.
The Accelerator will culminate with a Demo Day during Token2049, providing participating startups with an opportunity to showcase their progress in Singapore to a truly global audience.
Selected startups will receive a USD 50,000 grant, guidance from industry experts, tailored advice on product-market fit, and networking opportunities with potential investors and business allies.
