10 Years, 10 Million Tokens, Our Thanks

TL;DR:
We're celebrating IOTA’s 10th anniversary by distributing 10 million IOTA tokens among our community through airdrops, staking rewards, raffles, and community engagement.

UPDATE 30.10.2025: Half of our 10 million IOTA token anniversary airdrops have now been allocated!

We’ve distributed 750,000 IOTA tokens to LiquidLink users, and 2 million IOTA tokens to native IOTA token stakers, both based on October 24 snapshots.

The LiquidLink allocation was determined by leaderboard rankings, while the native staking distribution was calculated according to the amount of tokens staked and the staking duration.

Combined with the Binance Simple Earn campaign (2 million IOTA tokens) and the 10-Year Anniversary Party of IOTA in Singapore (raffled 250,000 IOTA tokens), the total distributed is now 5 million tokens.

The final 5 million tokens are reserved for our next wave of DeFi airdrops, aimed at active users across the ecosystem. On top of that, a separate IOTA NFT Genesis airdrop is planned, with more info to follow.

To celebrate this journey, we’re distributing 10 million IOTA tokens as a gift for our loyal community.

How We’re Giving Away 10 Million IOTA Tokens

While details are still being kept under wraps, here’s what we can share now:

1. Binance Simple Earn – Locked Product Launch: IOTA: Wednesday, 1 October

2 million IOTA tokens distributed via staking rewards on Binance.
Rewards scale depending on lock-up period of 30, 60 or 120 days

2. Anniversary Party in Singapore: Thursday, 2 October

250,000 IOTA tokens raffled to 10 winners at the IOTA 10 Year Anniversary celebration event
Additional prizes: IOTA-branded Keystone wallets and goodie bags.

3. Community & DeFi Engagement

Two groups of recipients:
- Holders of the Genesis NFT
- Contributors ranked on the LiquidLink DeFi leaderboard (distribution proportional to collected points)

4. Native IOTA Token Staking Airdrop

IOTA tokens distributed to all native IOTA stakers (excluding exchanges and IOTA Foundation, Tangle Ecosystem Association, and IOTA DLT Foundation wallets)
