Alejandro Elustondo is joining IOTA as Software Engineer of the Smart Contract Protocol team. In this role, Alejandro will be working on the development of the Smart Contracts Protocol.

Alejandro lives in Buenos Aires, Argentina and has been developing software for the past 15 years. In recent years he worked as a developer in a major software company in Argentina (C&S Informática).

He was dedicated to the development of smart contracts for an Argentine blockchain platform called BFA (Blockchain Federal Argentina ). He is also the co-founder of XDK2MAM (now IOT2TANGLE) together with Daniel “Carpincho” De Michele.

On joining IOTA

IOTA is playing a crucial role to truly achieve the future of Industry 4.0 and I am very excited to have the opportunity to work with such brilliant minds in the IOTA Foundation and really happy to be able to contribute to this great project since it has been of great interest to me in the recent years.

We are very happy to officially announcing Alejandro Elustondo joining the project, his experience as a technical entrepreneur is of great value to the IOTA foundation.
