Mariana De La Roche Wills is a Colombian human rights lawyer and entrepreneur. She holds a Law degree from the Rosario University and a specialization in Human Rights and Humanitarian Law from the Externado University. She graduated with a diploma of academic excellence. Since the beginning of her professional career, she has been working as a project manager for different NGOs and social businesses in Colombia and Germany.

It is inspiring to see how IOTA is getting involved with governments and inter-governmental organizations around the world to create real-world use cases for DLT & IoT that serve the public interest.

In my experience, improving the situation of human rights and achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals around the world is only feasible with the involvement of the public and the private sectors. In fact, my personal belief is that the future of human rights is in the hands of the private sector. Being part of the Social Impact Team at IOTA offers me the possibility to create and improve those connections in accordance with the principles of business and human rights, in order to generate a real impact in the field.
