Welcome Pinar Palavar to the IOTA Foundation

Pinar Palavar is joining IOTA as a Team Administrator of the Social Impact & Regulatory affairs team. In this role, she will focus on administration and support for the team and its Director, Julie Maupin.  

Pinar is a Berliner and studied Sociology of Technology at the Technical University Berlin. She brings her experience from the education sector and the software industry to IOTA. In recent positions, she supported the setup of a new charter school with a focus on diversity, inclusion, and social justice. Before that, she worked as a people manager in a software company, building teams in media research. As a certified Scrum Master, she brings a truly agile mindset to IOTA.  

I am very impressed by the professional and friendly atmosphere of everybody that I met at IOTA. The foundation practices lean approaches in all departments, and my expectations have been surpassed during the onboarding phase already.

The Social Impact team of IOTA has a truly unique opportunity to foster the use of the IOTA protocol, in order to collectively overcome societal and ecological challenges. I am excited to be part of this journey.
